We are fundraising for Disaster Relief

We are seeing opportunities to share Jesus’ love after natural disasters. We are set up to respond after hurricanes, floods, tornadoes and other events to help families begin the clean up and recovery process. We help during a time of overwhelming stress as they start to rebuild their lives after unimaginable loss. We get to share the love of Jesus with them in a time of great physical and emotional need.

We are preparing to respond when these storms hit, to share the love of Jesus with families when they need it most. To help them restore their lives both physically and spiritually.

Our disaster response team consists of volunteers that are trained to tarp roofs and remove debris. Cut dangerous trees that have fallen or sustained damage. Most importantly, to share the love of Jesus with families whose world was turned upside down in an instant and help them build access to hope. We partner with churches in the affected areas so that we can build relationships and help both in the short and long term recovery efforts.

We currently have disaster relief equipment and teams based in Fredericksburg, Va and Panama City, Fl. From these locations we work to coordinate along with other non profits and government agencies to respond to disasters in the Southeast United States.

We want you to be part of our team. In 1 Peter 4:10, Peter tells us to use the gifts God has given us to minister to one another. 516 Project tries to live out this calling with each project we take on. We would be honored to partner with you. Your financial support allows us to serve, so that when storms strike, families will see the church in action and glorify God’s name.

Thank you for making your best gift today!
